Inspired by a Mughal patka, the Banarasi handloom sari is handwoven in Katan silk with an all-over floral base pattern using minakari technique in which the motif is embedded in a field of zari to replicate enamelling. The realistic depiction of narcissus plants on the end panel gives it a painting-like finish — a stunning choice for elegant occasions.
